What Is The National Quality Framework?

The National Quality Framework (NQF) is intended to provide a national approach to regulation, assessment and quality improvement, creating a greater consistency for early childhood education and care services across Australia.

Aligned with the objectives of the NQF, our centre aims to exceed the National Quality Standards across all areas. Through self-assessment and the development and implementation of a Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), we critically reflect and evaluate our centre’s practices, recognising our strengths and identifying opportunities for improvement.

We value our collaborative partnerships with families/communities and acknowledge the importance of providing opportunities for families to exercise agency and contribute to our centre’s quality improvement process.

We welcome and encourage family feedback, ideas and appreciate the value that collaborative partnerships with families can have on children’s development and wellbeing.
